A's Bench Coach Bob Geren Named Manager

The A's have selected bench coach Bob Geren to be the new manager to succeed Ken Macha. He knows the team, and knows the philosophy of Billy Beane so it should work out. Geren, who will incorporate Macha's style, along with what he learned in Boston can hopefully lead the team to another playoff bid.
