This is crazy. The Red Sox are taking a huge risk by asking for this much. And from Boras, all they will get is 3-4 years. This could cost them 60 million just to get a pitcher. This is a terrible risk for the Red Sox, with a completely unproven player. Are the Red Sox that desperate? Or maybe they know that he will come to Boston and completely use the Green Monster, Papi, and Manny to his advantage. Only time will tell, this rumor will be solved by days end.
