After the Dave Roberts signings, the Giants are moving quickly to take in as many players as they can. According to the San Fransisco Chronicle, the Giants are close to a deal with Rich Aurilia, and are in serious discussions with Mark Loretta and Dave Weathers. Rich Aurilia and Dave Weathers are expected to receive a 2-3 yr. deal, 3 million annually. Now that the Giants are going after Aurilia and Loretta, could this mean that Omar Vizquel is on the way out? The Chronicle is saying the Aurilia and Roberts deals will be finalized by Monday.
