The Pirates have signed catcher Einar Diaz to a minor league deal, worth 600,000 dollars. He can earn a total of 225,000 dollars but will have to play in over 100 games to earn them. He has a career average of .254 with 21 HR while playing with the Indians, Expos, Rangers, Cardinals, and Dodgers.The Cubs are closing in on a one year deal for Cliff Floyd. I reported this a week ago it is now just becoming official.
