According to Ken Rosenthal, the Rockies plan to place closer Brian Fuentes on waivers this week. Rosenthal says the Dodgers have waiver priority, but don't be surprised to see them pass on him for salary reasons. Yes, the Dodgers would get two draft picks if they signed him, but they would have to give up two solid prospects for him. That is definitely something the Dodgers do not want to do within their division. It is possible to see the Phillies make the claim to block the Mets from adding him.
