Is Frank Thomas Done?

Oakland Athletics DH Frank Thomas learned that his quadriceps injury is not as bad as previously thought, meaning that he could play again in 2009. However, he hit .240 with just 8 HR in 71 games this season. Thomas will be 41 next season and is no longer the force that he was. He has trouble taking the ball the other way and saw a major drop off in his OBP. The Athletics have several prospects ready, so they won't need him, and the Blue Jays are looking to better players, so they won't spend their money on him.

Frank Thomas is currently 18th on the All-Time Homerun List, and it is very possible that his Hall of Fame career has come to an end.
