Angels Sign Fuentes

The Angels and Brian Fuentes have agreed to a two year deal, angelsbaseball.com is reporting. The deal includes a club option for 2011. Fuentes posted a 2.73 ERA with 30 SV last season for the Rockies, and is a three time All-Star. Although they didn't necessarily need a closer, bringing in an established one means they can keep Jose Arredondo where he was last year, where he was a huge asset to the teams bullpen.
