Cubs Closing In On Bradley?

PrintThe Cubs are reportedly closing in on a deal for free agent outfielder Milton Bradley. While Bradley's health is a question mark, the Cubs like his attitude and the possible impact he would have on the middle of the lineup. The Cubs and Padres are working hard to get a Jake Peavy deal done, reportedly swapping around some names and numbers as late as tonight.
Bobby Abreu is reportedly interested in playing for the Cubs, but GM Jim Hendry has had Bradley on his radar since he was released by the Dodgers after the 2005 season.
