Twins Like Crede?

The Twins reportedly have some interest in free agent third baseman Joe Crede, according to the Pioneer Press. Crede, 30, is still recovering from back surgery but should be ready for the 2009 season. His career was off to a tremendous start before being derailed by chronic back problems, but some evaluators still believe he can turn it around. The Twins do not necessarily need a third baseman, but they aggressively pursued Casey Blake and went after Mark DeRosa as well, so it is pretty hard to deny that they have interest in adding someone at third.
