Sheets Considering Surgery?

According to Ken Rosenthal, free agent pitcher Ben Sheets is considering surgery on a tear in his right flexor tendon. Sheets, a four-time All Star, nearly signed a two year deal with the Rangers before they backed out. Sheets will likely remain a free agent until he recovers and can start showing himself off to teams looking for starting pitching late in the season.
