Bobby Valentine may return to Japan?

FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal is reporting that Bobby Valentine is being pursued by the Yokohama Bay Stars in Japan. A couple weeks ago Valentine returned to the United States to be a commentator for ESPN, but many believe he is searching a managerial gig. 

The Indians are interested in hiring Valentine, and the Nationals also have him on their list of candidates.

Valentine has managed in Japan for the Chiba Lotte Marines since 2004, but let him walk this season because they could not afford him. 

Valentine could be a candidate for jobs in Chicago, Atlanta, and maybe St. Louis in the next couple years if he stays in the states. But returning to Japan instead of familiarizing himself with the league would only decrease his chances of returning to the MLB.
