LaRussa Near Decision on Cardinals Return
"I think I know where things lead but I want to be sure. I want to be honest. I want it to be genuine."
So said LaRussa cryptically during a break from work on his Animal Rescue Foundation work in Danville, CA. Wednesday. He explained that he is almost finished with his internal debate about whether to return to the Cardinals next season or move on. LaRussa is at the end of a two-year contract with the team and while acknowledging that he has been asked to return, he is on the fence about whether he will or not.

If LaRussa ever took another job besides the Cardinals, I think it would be with one of the Bay Area teams.
FIRE BRUCE BOCHY NOW!!!!!!
AND TAKE BRIAN SABEAN WITH HIM!!!!!
Call be biased
But I think Tony would rather retire than go to another ball club. He’s been managing for over 30 years. You would think that eventually he wants to metaphorically “Hang up the hat” rather than try and connect with a different organization.
Then again, maybe my bias blinds me.
