Yusei Kikuchi set to announce decision

18-year old Japanese phenom Yusei Kikuchi has scheduled a press conference to announce whether he will pitch in the United States. Just four days away from the Nippon Professional Baseball draft, all eyes will be on Kikuchi when he makes his announcement around 10 p.m. ET tonight.

Reports out of Japan indicate that Kikuchi is likely to start his career in Japan, but the guys over at the NPB Tracker are skeptical. Nikkan Sports, the daily sports newspaper of Japan, reported earlier that he will stay in Japan. 

All the rumors will be put to rest after tonight's press conference.  The Red Sox, Dodgers, Giants, Indians, Rangers, and Yankees are have interest in the young lefty, along with nearly a dozen more clubs.
