Nationals add former scouting director to front office

PrintFOXSports.com's John Paul Morosi is reporting that the Nationals have added former Reds scouting director Kasey McKeon as a special assistant to general manager Mike Rizzo.
McKeon, son of former Marlins manager Jack McKeon, has worked for the Rockies for the past seven seasons.
McKeon served as the Reds scouting director between 2001-2002 and is responsible for the Reds drafting Joey Votto in the second round of the 2002 draft.
The Nationals hope McKeon can help in pro scouting, where the Nationals have been short-staffed recently.
