Cubs, John Grabow close in on deal

Carrie Muskat of MLB.com is reporting that the Cubs are closing in on a two year deal with lefty reliever John Grabow. Grabow posted a 3.24 ERA in 30 appearances with the Cubs after coming over from the Pirates on July 30th with pitcher Tom Gorzelanny.
Grabow held lefties to a .222 average in 2009. Grabow will give the Cubs a solid veteran arm in a pen that is expected to be fairly young next season.
