Daily Roundup
- SI.com's Jon Heyman is reporting that the Mariners are still talking with the Tigers about Edwin Jackson. Jackson is due for a raise this offseason, but he would be a solid acquisition for the Mariners, giving them an above average number two starter behind Felix Hernandez.
- Scott Boras is telling reporters that there is already a lot of interest in his clients, specifically Mike Gonzalez and Adrian Beltre. We'll see if any of his clients bite the bullet early and cut a deal.
- A source with knowledge of the situation said that several teams are interested in infielder Placido Polanco. The Cardinals, Tigers, Mariners, Cubs, Brewers, Diamondbacks, and Dodgers are just a group of teams interested in the second baseman, who also has some experience at third base.
- Jon Heyman is reporting that the Royals are trying to move Brian Bannister and Mike Jacobs. For a team like the Reds, Brian Bannister would not be a bad investment, assuming they can unload their big three contracts.
- Speaking of which, the Reds are shopping Bronson Arroyo and Aaron Harang, but their markets might not form until later in the offseason.

I wouldn't mind the Giants getting Bannister as the No. 5 starter
that would allow MadBum a full year in AAA to develop
Don't think many are going to want Jacobs .297 OBP
My halloween costume: the Indiana secondary iPhone- no matter how much you want to love it, you know the coverage area sucks.
