White Sox sign Andruw Jones

The White Sox and Andruw Jones have agreed to a one year deal worth 500,000 dollars. Jones, 33, is certainly an example of a player who peaked early. After winning 10 Gold Gloves and appearing in 5 All-Star games, Jones is with his fourth team in as many years.

Jones appeared in 82 games for the Rangers last season, mostly in the DH spot, hitting .214 with 17 home runs and 43 RBI. He should make for an above average bench player for Ozzie Guillen.

I don't know where the Sox are going with this,

but it is an agressive move. I’m guessing as a insurance policiy in the outfield.

I don't know, I'm not in shape yet.
