- The Royals have signed Jason Kendall to be their everyday catcher, a one year deal worth 4 million dollars.
- You can rule out the Orioles and Rockies in the hunt for Jason Marquis. The Mets are believed to have some mild interest.
- The White Sox and J.J. Putz have officially agreed to a one year deal worth 3 million dollars.
- Seth McClung of the Brewers will be non-tendered.
- Ditto for the Jays' Jeremy Accardo.
- Astros finalized a deal for Brandon Lyon.
- The Cardinals did formally extend an offer to Matt Holliday, but the details of the deal are not known.
- The Mets reportedly offered a four year deal worth 65 million dollars to outfielder Jason Bay.
