Astros, Rangers interested in Brett Myers

Free agent pitchers Brett Myers is drawing interest from the Astros and Rangers, ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick is reporting. While Myers has not put up the best numbers recently, his versatility certainly makes him attractive.

The Astros are in dire need of help in the rotation and bullpen, and Myers would certainly give them more options. With Jose Valverde and LaTroy Hawkins on the open market, Myers would give the Astros a fallback if they can't afford both.
