The busy Seattle Mariners have made another deal today acquiring right-handed pitcher Robert Manuel from the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for outfielder Wladimir Balentien, this according to FOXSports.com.

Manuel, 26, has three games of big league experience, all coming in the last week. He has pitched 4 1/3 innings this year for the Reds without allowing an earned run.

John Sickels of Minor League Ball rates Manuel a C+, and has him ranked as the 19th best prospect in the Reds organization.

Sickels:  "One of several guys who could slot in nicely as a middle reliever"

Balentien, 25, has played in 56 games this year for the Mariners, and has posted some pretty anemic numbers (.213/ .271/ .355). For his career Baletien is batting .209 with 12 homers and 41 RBI's.
