Braves Acquire Adam LaRoche For Casey Kotchman

That was fast. The Atlanta Braves have acquired 1B Adam LaRoche from the Red Sox, Yahoo's Gordon Edes is reporting. LaRoche was just acquired by the Red Sox from the Pirates, but with the Red Sox upgrading with Victor Martinez, LaRoche immediately became expendable at first base. More to come on this deal as the details come out...
Update: Ken Rosenthal is reporting that the Red Sox will be receiving 1B Casey Kotchman in exchange for LaRoche.
