Brewers ship Bill Hall to Seattle
The Seattle Mariners have acquired Bill Hall from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for minor league pitcher Ruben Flores, SI.com is reporting. The Brewers will take on the remainder of his 6.8 million dollar salary this season, as well as a large portion of his 8.4 million dollar salary in 2010.
Hall, who was designated for assignment last week after hitting an abysmal .201 with 76 strike outs in 72 games, will likely join the Mariners on Thursday. Hall will be filling in for the injured Adrian Beltre, who was placed on the disabled list with a groin injury.
Flores, 25, pitched well for High-A in 36 appearances, going 2-2 with a 2.30 ERA and 18 saves. Opposing hitters are hitting .166 against him.

Not much return for Mil
Ruben Flores, 25 yr old relief pitcher who’s spent the past 4 seasons between A and High-A ball. And they paid almost all of Hall’s salary.
I guess no one else (Cinci) was really interested in Hall.
I still can't believe
that a MLB player, a 3B no less, would dare to not protect his nuggets.
