Cubs suspend Milton Bradley for rest of season
The Cubs have suspended outfielder Milton Bradley for the rest of the season, according to general manager Jim Hendry.
"I'm certainly not going to let our great fans become excuses," Hendry said. "I'm not going to tolerate [Bradley] not being able to answer questions from the media respectably."
It would be hard to find someone who would say that Bradley has not been a distraction in the clubhouse, spinning his usual 'everyone versus me' all season long.
Bradley hasn't been nearly as impressive as he was in 2008, hitting 20 points below his career average with 12 home runs.
The Cubs will try to trade Bradley, but I cannot imagine anyone would take him on. He is obviously a distraction everywhere he goes, so the Cubs will have trouble getting much in return. Don't be surprised if the Cubs cut their losses with Bradley and give someone else a shot.
Would you want your team making a trade for Milton Bradley?

Yes
If Chicago picked up a bunch of his salary, or took some salary back, I’d love to try to get Bradley in Texas. Ron Washington was able to keep him under control last season and Texas badly needs another right handed power bat.
No

I could see him going to an AL team.
Texas was the only place able to tolerate him, so I could see him going back.
Bradley’s kinda like the Sean Avery of baseball isn;t he? Excellent for the Rangers, Agent Orange to any other team.
What the f$%k is the internet?
Milton Bradley is the baseball equivalent of T.O.
Plain and simple, who ever lands this head case deserves all the drama accompanying him.
