Royals, Padres interested in Milton Bradley

Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune is reporting that the Royals have some interest in Milton Bradley. Royals upper management believes Bradley could thrive in Kansas City, where baseball is improving, but it's a pretty low-key environment.

The Royals could benefit from Bradley's bat in the lineup, who would provide stability in the four spot. Sullivan also suggests a possible Aaron Rowand for Bradley swap, which is possible considering the Cubs need another outfielder, who could be a stopgap to some of their younger prospects.

ESPN.com had a report earlier this week that the Padres would be open to a reunion with Bradley. Their experience was rather positive, and Bradley could give the Padres a solid corner outfield option.

I don't know why I pull for Milton Bradley to make something of himself...

…but I always do. And since I’m always pulling for KC to make something of themselves, too? GO FOR IT.

Goddamn that DeMarlo Hale.
