Brewers may hire Rick Peterson

PrintThe Brewers are reportedly considering bringing on pitching coach Rick Peterson to their staff in 2010, FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal is reporting. Peterson has worked with Macha and Brewers bench coach Willie Randolph, both with strong ties to the acclaimed pitching coach.
Peterson played a pivotal role in the development of Barry Zito, Tim Hudson, and Mark Mulder when he was with the A's. All three had 20-win seasons under Peterson.
