Indians dismiss Eric Wedge, coaching staff

PrintThe Indians formally announced today that manager Eric Wedge and his entire coaching staff will not return next season. Wedge will finish out the season, and will get the 1.3 million the Indians owe him for next season.
The Indians are the second time this month to fire their manager, and are expected to pick their next manager from outside the organization I wouldn't be surprised to see the Indians pursue Cardinals pitching coach Dave Duncan, who has had problems with the Cards' front office this season.
