Diamondbacks name Alan Trammell bench coach

Well, the Diamondbacks are certainly filling their staff fast. 

After naming Don Baylor as the teams hitting coach, and Charles Nagy emerging as the front-runner for pitching coach, the team has named former Cubs bench coach Alan Trammell new Dbacks bench coach.

Trammell and Gibson go back to the days when Trammell was managing the Tigers. He is widely respected around the league by players, coaches, and executives, but hasn't been able to land a managerial gig since his time with the Tigers between 2003-2005.
