Giants catcher Buster Posey and Rangers closer Neftali Feliz were awarded the Rookie of the Year honors for the 2010 season. It just so happens that both players appeared in the World Series this year, and contributed significantly given their experience in the league.

Posey posted a .305 average with 18 home runs and a .375 on-base percentage in 108 games (406 at-bats). Posey, a former 2008 first-round pick, carried the team for much of the season, including July splits when he hit .417 with a .466 on-base percentage and 7 home runs.

Feliz, appearing in three times as many games as 2009, posted a 2.73 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP with 40 saves and 71 strike outs.
