Details still fuzzy, but it sounds done. A's get a middling ground-ball-machine-reliever who frankly might not make the club this season.
I can't understand why the Jays want Davis, who probably becomes a 4th outfielder for them. They already have a Rajai Davis look-a-like in Fred Lewis. The trade makes some sense for the A's since the acquisition of DeJesus made Davis very expendable.
This probably kills Davis' fantasy value since his major contribution was his steals - and if he's only going to get 300 AB's, that's just not going to cut it.
Update: Daniel Farquhar is the other minor league player going to the A's. He's never been past AA, strictly a reliever, struggles with his command, strikes out a pile of hitters with a number of arm angles.
