According to Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Brewers GM Doug Melvin has informed pitcher Dave Bush that he will not make an effort to re-sign him and has encouraged him to look to other teams for offers.
Bush, along with pitcher Chris Capuano and infielder Craig Counsell are set to hit free agency and are unlikely to return to the team in 2011. Bush, 31, will likely make hit his first free agency as a player.
