Coaching Carousel: DeMarlo Hale To Interview For Mets Job

According to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York, the New York Metshave reached out to Boston Red Soxbench coach DeMarlo Hale to interview for their managerial opening.

Hale, 49, has been with the Red Sox since 2005 where he served as the team's third base coach until 2010 when he was named bench coach.  Hale has some managing experience as he managed the Oklahoma Redhawks, a triple-A affiliate to the Texas Rangers for seven seasons before serving as the team's outfield coach.

Hale joins other known candidates such as former Diamondbacks skipper Bob Melvin, former Angels manager Terry Collins as well as former Marinersmanager Don Wakamatsu and former Rockies manager Clint Hurdle.
