Brandon Webb Update

UPDATE: 4:30 PM: Brandon C.: Brandon Webb has signed with the Texas Rangers, pending a physical, according to Ed Price. I would also like to apologize for lack of posting, as I have been very busy with the holidays.

Free agent starter Brandon Webb is reportedly deciding between the Rangers and Reds, according to Foxsports.com. Webb has reportedly ruled out the Cubs and Nationals, even though they were the early favorites to sign him.

Webb, who has pitched in one game over the past two seasons, is also a Cy Young award winner. 

A decision is expected sometime next week, when offices reopen for the new year.

I just want to apologize for the slow posting over the past couple days. The bad internet connection along with the holidays has limited my time with MLBDD. Fortunately, all is back to normal and we should hit the ground running in 2011.
