Felipe Lopez fires Scott Boras
ESPN.com is reporting that free agent Felipe Lopez has fired agent Scott Boras and has signed on with Beverly Hills Sports Council. Lopez is reportedly disgruntled over not being signed yet so his action could be a way to start up his market.
Lopez hit .301 with a .383 on-base percentage and nine home runs last season between the Brewers and Diamondbacks.
Lopez, who will be 30 in May, could sign in Cleveland if the price is right. They were believed to be in on Orlando Hudson before he signed in Minnesota.

I love it.
I’m sure Boras doesn’t care, but I just love the thought of someone telling Boras, “You’re fired. YOU SUCK” and going on to peel a strip offa him.
“But I’m Scott Boras, don’t you understand?”
I know it didn’t go down that way, but I like to think it is the start of a wave of people realizing that he has surpassed his usefulness.

Hypothetical
What if he does something so dastardly that every one of his clients leaves him. I can just imagine that day :).
In football, the object is for the quarterback, otherwise known as the field general, to be on target with his aerial assault, riddling the defense by hitting his recievers with deadly accuracy in spite of the blitz, even if he has to use the shotgun. With short bullet passes and long bombs, he marches his troops into enemy territory, balancing this aerial assault with a sustained ground attack that punches holes in the forward wall of the enemy's defensive line.
In baseball the object is to go home! And to be safe! "I hope I'll be safe at home!"
