Rangers release shortstop Khalil Greene
The Dallas Morning News is reporting that the Rangers have voided the contract of shortstop Khalil Greene. Greene has been sidelined indefinitely with anxiety issues, so you can't really blame the Rangers for releasing him so he can focus on getting his life back together.
Greene missed a lot of time last season dealing with similar issues, appearing in just 77 games and hitting a disappointing .200 with 6 home runs.
If he proves to be fully recovered, it is possible someone could pick him up midseason.

good luck Greene
he played well for the Padres before this stuff started happening.
Regardless of who the Chiefs pick at #5 overall, Whitlock will call it the worst pick in the history of the Chiefs. Heres to hoping that #5 pick runs Whitlock out of town.....
