Cardinals finalize deal for Felipe Lopez

SI.com's Jon Heyman is reporting that the Cardinals have finalized a deal for free agent infielder Felipe Lopez. The deal is worth 2 million dollars plus additional incentives.

Lopez hit a solid .310 last season with 9 home runs in 151 games for the Brewers and Diamondbacks. He gives the Cardinals and even more solid lineup and reliable top of the order hitter.

Will not hit a solid .310 this season. The $2 million and incentives he got is too much. Lopez should be looking at a minor league deal with invite to spring training.
