Comcast to sponsor MLB Daily Dish!

I am pleased to announce that Comcast will be sponsoring SB Nation's Baseball section and all of its websites for the upcoming 2010 season. That's right baseball fans, Comcast is reaching out to us here at SB Nation to get the word out on some special offers for this season.

It is great to see the people at Comcast recognize the talent and passion of all of our bloggers, especially in time for the 2010 season! But it is not just about the bloggers, it is about our readers, the most passionate and knowledgeable on the web.

Comcast is reaching out to you to enhance your baseball experience this season. Here is what they are offering:

If you are a current Comcast customer they are offering you this sweet deal: Digital Preferred TV with MLB Network for only $9.99 a month for the first six months.

If you are not yet a Comcast customer the deal is even better: You can switch from current cable provider and get MLB Extra Innings for FREE! That's right, Comcast is giving it away for FREE!

To participate in these offers for the upcoming season, pick up the phone and call 1-800-COMCAST.

Thank you to all the people at Comcast and we look forward to working with you in the future!

Clarification on Comcast Offer from SB Nation

As was announced previously, Comcast has decided to partner with SB Nation on various initiatives in 2010, including a promotional relationship for the upcoming baseball season. In our excitement to launch the program, SB Nation and Comcast announced the MLB Extra Innings offer for switching from Dish Network or AT&T U-verse (where MLB EI is not yet available).

Unfortunately, it appears we may have jumped the gun on the promotion. As some of you may have already discovered, the offer is not currently available and I sincerely apologize for the missed step.

So…what does this mean? The good news is that the offer will be rolled out in many markets soon. As soon as it becomes available, we will let you know.

SB Nation sincerely appreciates your participation in this community and we apologize that this roll out was not as smooth as it should have been. We are trying hard to create an environment where passionate fans and relevant brands can coexist. Clearly, we can always do better – and we will. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me directly at kyle@sbnation.com.

Regards,

Kyle Ragsdale
