Jose Reyes to miss Opening Day

PrintMets shortstop Jose Reyes will not be in the teams Opening Day lineup, according to Jon Heyman of SI.com. The plan is to keep Reyes out for the first week, perhaps starting him in the Nationals series. Reyes had a thyroid problem that kept him out of most of spring training, and the team wants to give him extra time to get back to 100 percent.
Not too bad if you are a Mets fan, but is anyone else worried that this is just a precursor to a stint on the DL?
