The Rangers have claimed first baseman Ryan Garko off waivers from Mariners, according to ESPNDallas.com.
The 29-year-old Garko, who will make $550,000 this season, hit .268 with 13 homers and 51 RBIs last season.
The team finalized their roster today with the addition of Garko, optioning catcher Max Ramirez to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Garko will make for a nice back up behind first baseman Chris Davis.
