Blue Jays place Aaron Hill on DL

The Blue Jays have placed second baseman Aaron Hill on the disabled list with a hamstring injury. Hill is only 1-for-8 in 2 games this season but hit .286 with 36 home runs last season and a .330 on-base percentage.

WIth Hill's absence, John McDonald will likely handle the majority of the second base duties.

Outfielder Jeremy Reed was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas (talk about a long flight to Toronto).
