Cardinals resign Jeff Suppan

The Cardinals have resigned recently released pitcher Jeff Suppan after losing two of their starting pitchers to potentially long term injuries. Suppan was released after struggling mightily in his first starts with the Brewers.

"It was a lot of emotions and I was just going to wait and see what happened, to be honest with you,'' Suppan said. "But I'm glad it worked out and I'm very happy to be here.''

Suppan will start tomorrow night for the Cardinals.
