2012 All Star Game: Kansas City
Bud Selig announced today that the Kansas City Royals have been awarded the 2012 All-Star Game, according to SI.com.
The game is a reward for Jackson County voters approving a sales tax increase in 2006 to fund more than $250 million in stadium renovations. Selig had promised before that vote that an All-Star game would be held in Kansas City between 2010 and 2014 if the tax were approved.
This should be great for the Kansas City area.

Beautiful ballpark, one of my favourites.
Good for them.
Galactus does as he pleases. Because Galactus is drunk.
