Giants eye Royals' David DeJesus

Stay connected for news and updates

FOXSports.com is reporting that the Giants have interest in acquiring Royals outfielder David DeJesus. The Giants may have a tough time getting a bargain rate on DeJesus, who is hitting .328 with 5 home runs in 68 games this season.

DeJesus also has a six million dollar club option for the 2011 season, which is still affordable for the Royals beyond this year. However, the Royals are in serious need of some low-cost help for the long-term, and trading DeJesus may be one way to land that kind of talent.

The report also mentions the Padres, Red Sox, and Braves as possible landing spots as well.
