Orioles acquire Jake Fox

The Orioles have acquired DH/infielder Jake Fox from the Athletics in exchange for right-handed pitcher Ross Wolf. Fox is hitting .214 with 2 home runs, a season after .259 with 11 home runs for the Cubs. Fox is a solid hitter who can hit for power, but he has yet to find his natural position on the field.

With the Orioles, he can help out at third, first, and DH.

The Athletics receiver Ross Wolf, who was 0-2 with a 2.11 ERA for Triple-A Norfolk.
