Diamondbacks' Edwin Jackson throws no-hitter

Diamondbacks pitcher Edwin Jackson hurled a no-hitter, but he was from perfect. Jackson completed the no-hitter with eight walks and just six strike outs, while throwing 149 pitches. Jackson did not relish in the fact that it was his former team that was no-hit, but merely a coincidence.

Jackson is the fourth pitcher to throw a no-hitter this season, but it is the third time since July the Rays have been no-hit. It is a good accomplishment for Jackson, but because he walked eight batters, his trade value probably won't improve much.

This guy has been a career scrub with a scarce few flashes of talent. He was LUCKY…and sometimes that’s all you need.
