Cardinals sign Randy Winn

PrintAfter being designated by the Yankees, outfielder Randy Winn was a free agent long before being signed by the Cardinals on a minor league deal. Winn, 36, hit .213 with .300 on-base percentage in 71 plate appearances for the Yankees in 2010, but hit .290 with a .345 on-base percentage over five previous seasons with the Giants.
With the current state of the Cardinals outfield, was Randy Winn a good pick up?
