Giants sign Dontrelle Willis to minor league deal
The Giants will take a chance on struggling left-hander Dontrelle Willis by signing him to a minor league deal and assigning him to Triple-A Fresno. In 15 games this season, Willis has a 5.62 ERA and a 1.95 WHIP, a very unimpressive total.
The Giants hope they can work Willis out of this funk and get him ready to be a September call-up, if not sooner.
