Padres extend Bud Black through 2013

The Padres announced Monday that manager Bud Black's contract has been extended through 2013. Black, who was selected by former GM Kevin Towers, has taken his young club to a whole new level. The Padres are obviously invested in Black and his coaching staff to lead the team to a division title, and maybe more.
