Yankees, Reds eye Nationals reliever Matt Capps
Multiple sources are reporting that the Nationals are dangling pitcher Matt Capps and that he is drawing considerable interest on the open market. Capps, 26, owns an impressive 2.93 ERA and 24 saves this season, the second highest total in his career and four shy of setting a career high.
Capps, who is making a modest 3.5 million dollars this season, is reportedly drawing interest from the Yankees and Reds. Both teams are looking for bullpen help and would benefit from Capps being inserted as a late inning-reliever.
If the Nationals officially put Capps on the market, he should get plenty of attention and shipped out soon.

Possible???
If the Nats trade Capps, then they could trade Dunn to the White Sox for Jenks. Any thought?
Nobody wants Jenks.
Dunn will most likely go to the Sox, but not for Jenks. The Nats are grooming Drew Storen as the new closer. Jenks is flightly and his days in the league are numbered. His name will go on a list with BJ Ryan, Billy Koch, eventually Brad Lidge.
Why not us? Why not now?
