Orioles Hire Buck Showalter As Manager
According to ESPN's Tim Kurkjian, the Baltimore Orioles have found their next manager as they have decided to hire former D'Backs and Yankees manager and current ESPN analyst Buck Showalter.
In Showalter's career, he is has a managerial record of 882-833 as he has managed for the Diamondbacks, Rangers, and Yankees in his career.
Showalter's first game as manager will be at home against the Angels, the first of a seven game home stand for the O's.
Showalter has not managed in the big leagues since 2005 with the Rangers. He won Manager of Year twice, one with the Yankees and one with the Rangers.

Unconfirmed reports: Buck asked to be paid a million, ka-gillion, fa-fillion dollars to manage the Orioles.
Seriously though, I wish him the best of luck. Most of the Yankee games I get to see are at Camden Yards ($88 for the best seats in the house!!). Lately, it’s like the O’s don’t even care about winning or tasing fans on the field or anything for that matter.
