Giants eye Brewers' Ryan Braun
The Giants have been in the market for an outfielder all season long and may be starting to pick up their efforts to land a big time power hitter. The SF Chronicle is reporting that Giants GM Brian Sabean and one of his top scouts were in attendance to watch several Brewers players, including outfielders Ryan Braun and Corey Hart.
The Brewers and Giants have long been connected as the teams have had mutual interest in each others players for some time. The Brewers have even discussed the possibility of trading Prince Fielder for Matt Cain, but those talks never materialized into anything significant.
If the Giants want any chance of landing Braun, they need to be willing to surrender a top prospect for him. The Brewers would likely accept solid pitching for him, as they have one of the worst pitching staffs in the league.

The only thing that the Brewers would/should trade Braun for would be Lincecum plus Bumgarner.
This whole thing is ridiculous and truthfully has a 0% chance of ever happening, and I doubt very much that the two teams are even seriously discussing it.
Fielder for Cain should have been a very good trade for the Giants.
They would had two fat guys with Sandoval and Fielder :d
"A" solid prospect for Braun??
How about 5-6 solid prospects, which the Giants don’t have anymore since Posey and Bumgarner are up.
Noahj has it right…Lincecum and Bumgarner….and maybe that doesn’t get it done.
